3.谁能帮我找篇120字左右的英文上海景点介绍

Where to go in Shanghai depends largely on your time period of interest. For Imperial China, check out the Yuyuan Gardens with interesting buildings but a bit too much tourist oriented. For 1930s Shanghai, head for the stately old buildings of the Bund. Or pay a visit to The French Concession (close Huai Hai Park). For 21st-century Shanghai, cross the river to gawp at the skyscrapers of Pudong. To find some peace, you should visit the Lknghua Temple. It takes a while to get there but it's not as busy as the Jade Buddha Temple and the experience is fulfilling. You can also have a nice vegetarian Buddhist meal in both Temples.点击下面的超链接可以找到更多内容。

The Oriental Pearl Tower (Chinese: 东方明珠塔; Pinyin: Dōngfāng Míngzhūtǎ, Official Name: 东方明珠电视塔) is a TV tower in Shanghai, China. The Oriental Pearl Tower is located at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district, by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund of Shanghai. It was designed by Jia Huan Cheng of the Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Co. Ltd. Construction began in 1991 and the tower was completed in 1995. At 468 m (1,535 feet) high, it is the tallest tower in Asia, and the third tallest tower in the world. The Oriental Pearl Tower belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers. The tower has approximate coordinates 31°14'30 N and 121°29'42 E.The tower has three observatory levels. The highest (known as the Space Module) is at 350 m (1148 ft). The lower levels are at 263 m (863 ft) (Sightseeing Floor) and at 90 m (295 ft) (Space City). There is a revolving restaurant at the 267 m (876 ft) level. The project also contains exhibition facilities, restaurants and a shopping mall. There is also a 20 room hotel called the Space Hotel between the two large spheres. The design of the building is based on a verse of the Tang Dynasty poem Pipa Song by Bai Juyi about the wonderful sprinkling sound of a pipa instrument, like pearls, big and *** all falling on a jade plate (大珠小珠落玉盘/大珠小珠落玉盘/dà zhū xiǎo zhū luò yù pán).Seen from afar, the Yangpu bridge (杨浦大桥 Yángpǔ dàqiáo) and the Nanpu bridge (南浦大桥 Nánpǔ dàqiáo) seem like two Chinese dragons frolicking with the pearls of the Oriental Pearl tower.-----------------------The Jin Mao Building or Jin Mao Tower (Chinese: 金茂大厦; Pinyin: Jīn Mào Dàshà; literally "Golden Prosperity Building") is an 88-story landmark skyscraper in the Lujiazui area of the Pootung district of Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It contains offices and the Shanghai Grand Hyatt hotel. As of 2005, it is the tallest building in the PRC, the fifth tallest in the world by roof height and the seventh tallest by pinnacle height. Along with the Oriental Pearl Tower, it is a centerpiece of the renowned Pootung skyline. It will be surpassed in 2008 by the Shanghai World Financial Center. The building is located on a 24 000 m2 plot of land near the Lujiazui metro station. It was designed by the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Its postmodern form, whose complexity rises as it ascends, draws on traditional Chinese architecture such as the tiered pagoda, gently stepping back to create a rhythmic pattern as it rises. Like the Petronas Towers in Malaysia, the building's proportions revolve around the number 8, associated with prosperity in Chinese culture. The 88 floors (93 if the spire floors are counted) are divided into 16 segments, each of which is 1/8th shorter than the 16-story base. The tower is built around an octagon-shaped concrete shear wall core surrounded by 8 exterior composite supercolumns and 8 exterior steel columns. Three sets of 8 two-story high outrigger trusses connect the columns to the core at six of the floors to provide additional support. The foundations rest on 1,062 high-capacity steel piles driven 83.5m deep in the ground to compensate for poor upper-strata soil conditions. At the time those were the longest steel piles ever used in a land-based building. The piles are capped by a 4m-thick concrete raft 19.6m underground. The basement's surrounding slurry wall is 1m thick, 36m high and 568m long, and composed of 20,500 m3 of reinforced concrete. The building employs an advanced structural engineering system which fortifies it against typhoon winds of up to 200 km/h (with the top swaying by a maximum of 75cm) and earthquakes of up to 7 on the Richter scale. The steel shafts have shear joints that act as shock absorbers to cushion the lateral forces imposed by winds and quakes, and the swimming pool on the 57th floor is said to act as a passive damper. The exterior curtain wall is made of glass, stainless steel, aluminium, and granite, and is criss-crossed by complex latticework cladding made of aluminum alloy pipes.Official dedication was August 28, 1998, a date also chosen with the number 8 in mind. It is the most noise place in this city now with thousands and hundreds visitors from every parts of this world. Wonderful, we still have such garden, at least everyone like it, at least. AlsoYuyuan is a typical Chinese garden located in the heart area of downtown Shangahi. It is very hard to find such beautiful garden in current Shanghai because such lower structures take more land to serve less people comparing to the highrise buildings. The beautiful thing is always beauty; swimming, as a hot spot for travelers, you can not feel such wondeful feeling in a quite garden when you sit down on the stone bench beside the pool watching golden fishs'。

Shanghai has lots to offer for both first-timers and re-visitors. What are the Top 20 attractions in Shanghai? Shanghai has become a paradise for both shoppers and diners. Shanghai is studded with restaurants from time-honored eateries to a vast assortment of restaurants serving French, Italian and Japanese cuisine. Famous dishes from every major school of Chinese cooking are served at old villa restaurants. Where to relax after a busy day or a week? The Bund has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River, that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, etc. The Bund houses 52 buildings of various architectural styles such as Romanesque, Gothic,Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical,Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco. The buildings are harmonious in color and style, thus gaining the name of "Gallery of World Architecture". When night falls and the lights are on, all the buildings are lit with colorful lights, glistening and dazzling to the eye. Pudong's answer to the Bund, this strip of green along the east bank of the Huangpu River offers a fine view of the Bund at a distance. After dark, when the Bund's buildings are lit up and beacon lights sweep the river lanes, the view is one of the best in Shanghai . The Riverside Promenade also affords marvelous views of Pudong's skyscrapers, and the Shanghai International Convention Center and its twin globes. Extending from Dongchang Lu and the river ferry terminal in the south to Taidong Lu in the north, the 2.5km -long (1 1/2-mile) promenade consists of manicured lawns, flower beds, and a bRd. walkway dotted with kiosks. Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs have staked out the best spots in the middle section around the Shangri-La hotel, so you can now have your view and your latte and ice cream too.。
